Also, I really do play it with a PSX controller on my laptop. Which really is red. Oh, and the cable really is that tangled up.
I love the way Assassin's Creed automatically recognised my PSX controller perfectly. With no configuration whatsoever, AC referred to the Square button, R2 button, and so on automatically. It was wonderful after spending ages on configuration in my other games.
@MatthewJA: Actually, when one finishes the game, one starts playing Assassin's Creed II instead. Which, incidentally, is even more awesome.
