There are some really strange achievements in games. One wonders why anyone would carry a garden gnome into a space probe otherwise.

corporations are evil

That is, of course, because all designers of games for Xbox 360 and PS3 are LEGALLY OBLIGUED to have achievements. For some it makes sense, but for some it's just stupid. They have to put them anyways, though, so they just throw whatever in there. I remember one game where you got an achievement for watching the game intro, then one for gaining one achievement, and so on until the quota was filled. THEN you can play.
