What the DM doesn't know can't hurt him, right?

Finally, we've got colour again. This reminds me of how much I love Jane's new style, and hate Fred's. I'll probably change his again next time I have a plot-justification for it.

Also: yes, I know Disintegrate produces a GREEN ray. It looks so much cooler this way, though.

@TheyCallMeTomu: Don't tell the DM that either, okay? Good.

Oh for crying out loud. Who cares if Mage Armor can be cast as an immediate action or not-or whatever they called it in 3E (introduced first in the Expanded Psionics Handbook, of all things)-the fact of the matter is that mage armor doesn't apply to ranged touch attacks anyway-only incorporeal touch attacks.

Did not do the research? Or Just Didn't Care? Or perhaps intentional failures. Who knows?!

Permalinks:

Transcript:

Captain Obvious: Disintegrate is the magic spell I am casting, which is a magic spell and is magical!

Fred: Please, explain your plan before that guy makes a better attack roll.

Jane: It's simple enough. Take a good look at yourself.
Fred: Colour! Of course!

Captain Obvious: Disintegrate is the magic spell I am casting, which is a magic spell and is magical!
Fred: Evasion!
Jane: Mage Armour!

Jane: Wait. Evasion doesn't actually work on spells with attack rolls.
Fred: Mage Armour can't be applied instantaneously to defend from Disintegrate.

Jane: I won't tell the DM if you don't.
Fred: Deal.
