One Day More

That would make the day that just started the *fourth* day, assuming the standard three-day cycle. The *second* day started shortly before I started working here, so… I really shouldn't know about it. But I don't remember the *third* day starting. So that's kind of weird.

Author Notes:

Clearly the second and third days both passed during the well-over-hundred-net-pages-long time travel shenanigans. CLEARLY

Shenanigans is a fun word. It's fun to spell, but it's even more fun to answer a question with it.

"So how did you steal the time-travelling sword from the gods, and what did you do with my shoelaces?"

Edit: And oh dear Ebony is not going to be happy about this, but... does Trope-Tan know the Song of the First Day?

at the end of the day there's another day dawning.

Trope-tan: Operation complete!
Bob: Fantastic. Now can we get on with more important things?

Fred: We certainly need to figure out where and when we are.
Jane: For where, I'll hazard a guess and suggest a post-apocalyptic wasteland of some sort.
Probably the post-apocalyptic sort.
Trope-tan: As for when, it's clearly night. The question becomes one of *which* night.

Bob: We don't appear to have become unusually tall.
Fred: Indeed. Odd, given that this appears in all respects to be an area deserving of world-map status.
Jane: Wait, how so?

Fred: It's devoid of notable landmarks and has a generally uniform landscape, so we can walk great distances without the Author needing to draw anything new.
Very world-map-esque.

Trope-tan: The title page for this chapter had mirrored versions of us in it. So it's possible this is some kind of alternate universe with alternate versions of us.
Fred: An alternate universe without Final Fantasy map code?
Trope-tan: I surmise this to be the case.

Dawn of
A New Day

Jane: Well, *that's* interesting.
