Apparently that wall of text in every panel is a recipe for serious lag in Inkscape.

@Snowyowl: I considered that, but I want to stick with pure vectors as much is possible.

What is that fufu-fu-less diagonal rectangle in panels 1..4? I don't see it in previous strips.

You could make the wall of text less laggy by exporting it to an image and then re-importing it. It's a bit of a hack (okay, a lot of a hack), but it gets rid of the lag.

Fred: Then Trope-tan will evidently win.

The Author: Are you kidding? She has *blue hair*.
Trope-tan: Hey! You gotta have blue hair!
The Author: Thus, you, too, cannot be declared the victor.
Trope-tan: Baka.

Fred: I also have blue hair, so-
The Author: Yes, you didn't win either.

Bob: Wait, does this Kyon guy also not have hair? 'cause then I'd-
Fred: I'm going to go with "certainly not".

Jane: Wait a second. Do *any* of us have the correct hair to match our chosen characters? I don't…
Fred: I don't.
Bob: I apparently don't.

Annabelle: I do not.
Ebony: I don't.
Trope-tan: Watashi bekarazu.
Jane: None of us have the correct hair colour.
I… hadn't realised our costumes all sucked so much.
