MSTed - Chamber of Ripoffs

"Being transported inside a book isn't actually from Harry Potter originally. It's probably on TV Tropes somewhere." Of course it is. Everything's on TV Tropes somewhere. It's probably on the Harry Potter pages.

What's a host segment? I can guess that is is something that MST does, but since I've not seen that particular show, I require some exposition here.

The sections between the actual MSTing parts, back on the Satellite. These generally feature a short skit related to the movie being watched in that episode. In the actual show, there are six host segments total: two before the movie starts, four during, and one at the end.

Um... Isn't two plus four plus one equal to seven, not six? (Yes, old, but I'm rererereading the comic for the umpteenth time).

Why, yes. Look upon my basic arithmetic skills, ye mighty, and despair.

(I accidentally counted the first host segment as two, since it's split down the middle by a commercial break.)

Transcript:

Joel: Make that five. Sigh.
Jane: Wait, I think there's a pixel different in the corner there!
Crow: No, that's just a mark on the screen.

All: AAAAH!
Tom: Let go of the book, you fool! Let go of the book!

Trope-tan: Wait. Where did the dishwashing gloves go?
Bob: There was absolutely no point to the previous page!
Fred: Like we didn't know that already?

Trope-tan: This time, you copy and paste your previous poses into a new file and scale them down slightly, making no other modification to the panel.
Jane: Apparently that coat is no longer affected by gravity.

Joel: Okay, bored now.
Crow: Drinking game?
Trope-tan: Hold on, guys. We've nearly finished the chapter.
And I don't want any of you dying of alcohol poisoning.

Bob: My surprise at this strange turn of events is now entirely replaced with mild annoyance.
Tom: No matter what the rest of this comic throws at you, you'll just shrug it off through sheer disgruntlement?
Bob: Yeah, pretty much.

Bob: Great. Some lame Harry Potter ripoff.

Trope-tan: Ha! No, it's not! Because in HarryPotterAndTheChamberOfSecrets, Harry is merely transported inside the book, and not reduced in size!

Bob: Just drop it already. We know.
Fred: Why are you pointing out so many meaningless plot flaws anyway?
Trope-tan: I do have a *whole* namespace for FridgeLogic.

Shloop!

Jane: It is pronounced "schloop", thank you.
Crow: It's over!
Joel: Come on, let's get out of here...
